Singer Island is on the east coast of Florida near West Palm Beach and north of Fort Lauderdale.
Visitors who fly to Florida to reach Singer Island can land at Palm Beach International Airport, which is 13 miles away. Another option is Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, which is 60 miles away.
Anyone wanting to combine a cruise vacation and land vacation could visit Singer Island from two of the major Florida cruise ports at Fort Lauderdale or Port Canaveral.
Although the Palm Beach airport seems like a logical choice, ticket prices may be more expensive for that airport versus Fort Lauderdale.
Either way, a rental car will be necessary to reach the island and drive around to nearby dining, shopping and entertainment.
Anyone who drives there will find it conveniently located within a few miles of I-95.
It’s safe to say that driving to Singer Island is much easier than driving around the beautiful but rugged Irish countryside.
